New Random Events!

As of today (1 December, 2006) we will be adding a new feature, Random Events!

This is a new and (hopefully) original idea thought up by the Dragon Command Staff and will take place at random times during a mission, and probably even more so when there are no missions taking place.

This is how the new feature will work:-

In different topics throughout the forum you will be presented with chances to take part in random events (An example of one can be found below). Only one person will be able to take part in each event, and there will be a prize if the event is completed (Items or Latinum).

However, it's not as easy as it sounds, some events may include Illegal activities and you COULD be caught by a Security Officer of Marine (It depends on the mood of the host, lol). In which case you could have Items or Latinum or be thrown in the brig!


Example


You are approached by a nearby nurse as you pass by Sickbay, she has a look of extreme worry on her face...

"Quick, in here! Ensign Barlow is going into cardiac arrest! We can't resuscitate him!"

Options

Speak: What?! I'm no doctor, I can't even handle a hypo-spray!
Speak: Ok, Ensign, I'll see what I can do *Enter Room*
Action: Run away Screaming
Action: Shoot The Nurse

Admiral Wagner

Please note that though played IC these will not affect your In Mission status. So if you're thrown in the brig here you won't be in the current mission...
